Academic Staff Member in the Project “Sustainability by Design” | Design Research and Public Relations (Graphics and Text) at Folkwang Universität der Künste

The Folkwang University of the Arts is seeking a part-time Academic Staff Member for the “Sustainability by Design” project, effective 01 November 2026 and limited until 30 June 2027. The role combines design research, science communication, graphics and text, exhibition support, public relations, social media, and website work. It is based at the Quartier Nord | Campus Welterbe Zollverein site in Essen and offers flexible working hours, mobile working, and office space. Applicants need a university degree in design or a comparable field, strong graphic design and typography knowledge, writing and social media experience, Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, and German and English skills.
