Description

Accenture Construct is hiring a senior Program Manager to provide executive leadership and overall management of large-scale rail and transit infrastructure programs from pre-construction through construction, testing, commissioning, and handover. The role oversees design-build and alternative-delivery contracts, project controls, contract administration, risk and compliance, multidisciplinary teams, permitting, stakeholder coordination, and executive reporting. It requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, at least 15 years of progressively responsible experience managing major rail and transit projects, and a California Professional Engineer license; the work location is a mix of remote, client-site, and Accenture-office work.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience managing and delivering major rail and transit infrastructure projects of comparable size and complexity
Professional Engineer (PE) license; California PE strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
Experience on large-scale transit projects, LA Metro projects, or similar urban transit systems
Familiarity with LA Metro policies, procedures, and project delivery frameworks
Strong local knowledge of Los Angeles communities and stakeholder landscape
Experience delivering projects using design-build, CM/GC, or P3 delivery methods
Knowledge of construction contracts, means and methods, engineering coordination, and claims management
Experience managing multiple concurrent construction contracts on large-scale transit programs
Understanding of owner versus contractor risks and responsibilities in alternative delivery environments
Experience coordinating with Greater Los Angeles agencies, municipalities, public works, utilities, and permitting authorities
Experience with the Federal Transit Administration New Starts program
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholders
Ability to prepare and deliver executive presentations, technical reports, and formal correspondence
Strong organizational and decision-making skills for managing competing priorities in a high-profile program environment
