Description
The Structural Engineer will review proposed structural plans and specifications for educational-facility construction projects, evaluate compliance with District standards and building codes, coordinate with other design disciplines, and contribute to District design guidelines and technical specifications. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field, ten years of full-time paid professional experience in structural engineering planning, design, and construction of educational facilities, and a valid California Professional Engineer license; a California Structural Engineer license is a bonus. The work is onsite with clients and partners.
