Description
The Access Control Technician installs, programs, troubleshoots, and services access control and video surveillance systems in commercial, residential, hospitality, educational, government, detention, and other facilities. The role includes interpreting shop drawings, pulling and terminating low-voltage cabling, coordinating with door and hardware technicians, responding to service calls, documenting work, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates need at least one year of relevant experience, familiarity with access control hardware and software, basic network and IP knowledge, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
