TEKsystems is hiring an Access Control Technician for a contract-to-hire, fully onsite role supporting commercial security installation projects in North Charleston and surrounding areas. The position installs and troubleshoots access control devices, card readers, door hardware, electronic locks, and low-voltage systems; pulls, terminates, labels, and tests cabling; reads drawings and wiring diagrams; and supports testing, commissioning, and project coordination. The role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, travel ability, basic electrical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and strong communication skills. The pay range is $22.00-$31.00 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, disability, HSA, and other benefits available to eligible employees.
