Description
The Learning Support Specialist manages cases for students with cognitive disabilities, develops academic and career-technical training plans, provides small-group instruction and tutoring, coordinates accommodations and vocational assessments, develops work-experience placements, and serves as a liaison with state and community agencies. The role also maintains student records, supports staff training, and upholds safety and employment standards. A bachelor’s degree, experience with diverse youth, and a valid driver’s license are required; two to three years of related work experience is preferred.
