Description
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection is hiring a Civil Engineer Level 3 Accountable Manager to oversee the planning, design, construction, and delivery of wastewater capital projects, including wastewater resource recovery facility upgrades, pump station projects, and CSO programs. The role manages project schedules, budgets, consultant and contractor contracts, environmental health and safety, stakeholder coordination, staffing, and performance metrics, and reports to the Deputy Portfolio Manager. Candidates must have four years of full-time civil engineering experience, a valid New York State Professional Engineer’s License, and may substitute a master’s degree for one year of experience.
