Description
Barnstorm is hiring a full-time Accountant for Montreal or Vancouver. The role manages accounts payable, receivable, the general ledger, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close activities, intercompany consolidations, accrual-based multi-currency accounting, financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, payroll coordination, audit and tax documentation, and process improvements. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience, at least three years of accounting experience, knowledge of Canadian or U.S. GAAP, ERP and Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The position is in-person or hybrid and offers $75,000–$100,000 CAD.
