Description

We are seeking an Accountant I to join our team. The Accountant I will work with a team of 8-10 accountants and help extract and enter accounting data accurately. Responsibilities include communication with clients, accounts payable, posting journal entries, assisting in processing financial statements, updating financial data, bank account reconciliation, and accounts receivable. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and a minimum of 1 year in AP/AR roles. Preferred experience includes experience with SSC methodologies, working in a shared service center, and familiarity with accounting software such as Quickbooks, Yardi, and AppFolio. The position is remote and based in Colombia.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: Minimum of 1 year in AP/AR roles.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in transitioning or integrating SSC methodologies into a corporate environment.
Experience working in or with a Shared Service Center.
Familiarity with major accounting software such as Quickbooks, Yardi, AppFolio, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail & ability to manage multiple tasks.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Dealing in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
