Description
The Accounting Manager, Special Projects leads accounting projects affecting the company and its subsidiaries, including legal-entity accounting, consolidations, intercompany matters, ERP and process changes, restructurings, and statutory and GAAP/IFRS reporting. The role manages subsidiary accounting, complex journal entries, close support, technical accounting impacts, internal controls, audits, process improvements, and external reporting assistance, while leading and developing a finance team. It requires a bachelor’s degree, at least eight years of accounting and finance experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel; preferred qualifications include management experience, public accounting experience, multi-entity experience, project management experience, and CPA certification. The national and Maryland salary range is $95,000 to $125,000.
