Current’s Charlotte-based member firm is hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee outsourced client accounting services, including controllership, general ledger and payroll reconciliations, month-end close, tax and audit schedules, financial reporting, and client onboarding. The role also supervises and mentors staff and interns, coordinates accounting, attest, and tax deliverables, and develops new business relationships. Candidates need at least six years of relevant external client-facing accounting experience, prior staff training and technical review experience, and QuickBooks experience; a CPA or EA license, payroll tax knowledge, and advanced Excel skills are preferred. The position offers an annual salary of $100,000–$130,000 plus health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
