Description
The company is hiring an Accounting Manager to own the full accounting function for a fast-moving aerospace and defense hardware company. The role covers month-end close, GAAP financial reporting, cost accounting, government contract compliance, AP/AR and cash management, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, audit and tax coordination, and accounting systems and process improvement. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, at least five years of progressive accounting experience including two years in management or lead capacity, and strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, manufacturing cost accounting, GAAP, and ERP systems. The position is based in Torrance, California, with compensation of $150,000 to $180,000 base salary plus equity and medical coverage.
