Independence Construction is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead accounting and finance functions for its construction management organization. The role oversees financial close, general ledger, reconciliations, financial statements, project and job-cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, accounting systems, and process improvement, while managing and developing accounting staff. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least five years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting, construction or project-based accounting, and accounting-management experience are preferred.
