Athena Engineering is hiring a full-time, on-site Construction Accounting Specialist in San Dimas to handle both accounts payable and accounts receivable for a 40-person mechanical HVAC and building automation contractor. The role processes vendor and subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, customer invoices, lien waivers, preliminary notices, credit applications, and vendor onboarding; maintains accounts; and uses advanced Excel. Candidates need one to two years of dual-side accounting experience, one year of commercial construction accounting, ERP experience, advanced Excel, strong numerical and logical skills, and a high school diploma or GED. The position pays $25.00–$30.00 per hour, offers medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits, and requires a background check and drug screening.
