Description
The Construction Materials Testing Technician performs field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. The role involves transporting samples, preparing and submitting reports, communicating results to project and engineering personnel, maintaining equipment and work areas, and following safety procedures. The position is initially performed under close supervision and includes progressive training and responsibility, with a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of experience, and a valid driver’s license required.
