Description
HDR is hiring an Acoustician 2 to serve as an experienced acoustical and/or vibration specialist. The role conducts noise and vibration analyses, develops design options and recommendations, prepares service deliverables, and works independently or with senior scientists on projects with clear objectives and limited variables. The position may function as a Technical Specialist, Task Lead, or Project Manager and may provide direction to clerical, technical, and lower-level professional personnel. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in acoustics, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a closely related field, at least five years of related experience, leadership and teamwork skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, GIS proficiency, proficiency with measurement-data analysis software, familiarity with relevant ISO and U.S. acoustical standards, and familiarity with acoustical guidance documents.
