Description
The Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program Supervisor (ACPE Certified Educator) operates and supervises CPE programs within a clinical group, site, or hospital. The role coordinates chaplaincy teams, oversees CPE student recruitment, scheduling, clinical placements, orientation, performance review, and program accreditation; provides spiritual care and pastoral support; and supports strategic planning, budgeting, and professional development. It is a remote or work-from-home position with occasional travel, supports the Richmond, Virginia market, and requires an ACPE certification, faith-community endorsement, a master's degree in theology or pastoral studies, and four years of progressive chaplaincy experience.
