Description
The Senior Acquisition and Technical Advisor serves as the AFMC Special Access Program Management Office focal point, advising senior Air Force, Department of Defense, and other agency leaders on Special Access Program and Special Access Required developmental planning, capability requirements, and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes. The role requires at least one year of specialized experience in SAP operations, materiel acquisition, strategic planning, program management, and classified-area program execution, along with mastery of the acquisition life cycle, systems engineering, risk assessment, contracting, and technical communication. The position is acquisition-coded, may require travel and overtime, and requires U.S. citizenship, Selective Service registration for males, and the appropriate security clearance.
