Description
Apple is hiring an Optical Module Process Engineer to develop and deploy active alignment processes for new optical modules from engineering through mass production. The role collaborates with external vendors, contract manufacturers, and internal design, operations, and engineering teams to translate optical requirements into equipment and process requirements, bring up and validate new equipment, optimize yield and efficiency, conduct failure analysis, and convert engineering solutions to mass production. The position requires an engineering, physics, or materials degree and at least three years of experience tooling up existing process machines for new optical devices and improving process efficiency and yield.
