Description
Cabarrus County is hiring a Senior Center Program Manager to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate cultural, recreational, educational, and informational programs for older adults and adults with disabilities. The role also supervises part-time staff and volunteers, recruits and schedules volunteers, coordinates with community agencies, manages Senior Center facilities and reservations, and promotes programs through public communications. The position requires a college degree in recreation, leisure management, gerontology, or a related field, professional experience in community or group recreation with older adults, a valid North Carolina driver's license, CPR and first aid certification, and a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional adjusted hours, and the hiring range is $47,964.80 to $57,304.00.
