Chesterton Manor is hiring a part-time Activities Assistant at its skilled nursing facility in Chesterton, Indiana. The role supports residents’ emotional, recreational, social, psychological, and spiritual well-being by planning and conducting activities, assisting with daily living tasks and record keeping, escorting residents to programs, supervising crafts and recreation, and helping with facility communications and events. A high school diploma or GED and prior long-term care or experience with elderly or disabled people are preferred; availability every other weekend and holidays and age 18 or older are required. The position includes medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage along with other benefits.
