Description
Montcare Wheaton is seeking an Activities Assistant to design, implement, and evaluate recreational and therapeutic activities for residents in its rehabilitation and skilled nursing center. The role involves coordinating arts and crafts, games, sports, and entertainment events; assessing resident needs; collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams; maintaining participation records; and supporting care plan development. Applicants should have 0–2 years of activities or recreation programming experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift equipment.
