Description
The Activities Assistant/Aide assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for long-term care residents. Responsibilities include observing resident behavior, maintaining activity records, preparing activity areas, purchasing supplies, supporting in-room residents, and promoting residents’ physical, social, and mental well-being. The role requires patience, tact, enthusiasm, English proficiency, flexibility, and the ability to move, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.
