The Marshes of Skidaway Island is hiring a part-time Activities Assistant to work with residents in groups and one-on-one, providing enriching activities across the Dimensions of Wellness. Responsibilities include assessing and charting residents, maintaining participation records, and leading scheduled groups, one-on-one visits, and activities. The schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, Friday, every other Saturday and Sunday, some holidays, and coverage as needed. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED equivalent, experience planning and delivering programs in a long-term care facility, and experience working with a geriatric population; senior-population experience is preferred. The role pays $17-$18 per hour based on relevant experience and offers a scholarship program, free meals, an annual holiday bonus, special recognition weeks, and free parking.
