Description
The Activities Director leads the activity program for a care community, developing and evaluating resident activities, coordinating care plans and MDS documentation, interviewing new residents and families, managing volunteers and supplies, participating in QAPI, scheduling staff, and maintaining the activity calendar. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably college or clerical schooling, and either successful completion of an Activity Director Course or two years of experience in a social or recreational program.
