Aventura at Prospect is hiring an Activity Aide to plan and facilitate engaging recreational and social activities for senior residents in a skilled nursing facility. The role includes organizing arts and crafts, games, music, exercise, entertainment, social events, and holiday celebrations; assisting residents with participation; preparing and maintaining activity areas; documenting resident participation; and collaborating with nursing and other departments. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, previous Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work compassionately and dependably with residents, families, and staff.
