Southbridge Care Homes is hiring a full-time Activity Aide in Owen Sound, Ontario, reporting to the Programs Manager. The role plans, implements, and evaluates individual and group activities for long-term care residents, sets up and cleans activity areas, transports residents, monitors resident behavior and condition, maintains records, and communicates participation to registered staff. Applicants need a post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, or a related field, or enrollment in such a program, along with communication, documentation, program-planning, and geriatric-care experience. The position pays $21.06 per hour from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
