Southbridge Care Homes is hiring a part-time Activity Aide in Exeter, Ontario, reporting to a Programs Manager. The role plans, implements, and evaluates individual and group activities for long-term care residents, sets up and cleans activity areas, transports residents, monitors resident behavior and condition, maintains records, and communicates participation to registered staff. Applicants need a post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field or enrollment in such a program, communication and documentation skills, experience with program planning and geriatric or cognitively impaired residents, and a negative vulnerable-sector check completed within six months of the start date.
