Description
The Activity Coordinator plans, organizes, and directs activities for residents in a skilled nursing facility under the direction of the Director of Social Services. This includes coordinating entertainment, communication exercises, relaxation techniques, and fostering creativity to meet residents' psychological, social, and spiritual needs. The coordinator trains staff and volunteers, manages activity calendars, decorates for special events, purchases supplies, evaluates resident participation, and participates in care planning.
