New York Edge is hiring an Extended Day Activity Instructor to lead or co-lead after-school activities for children and teens across its New York City program sites. The role covers STEM, arts, literacy, sports, health and wellness, entrepreneurship, media arts, journalism, urban agriculture, and other curriculum areas, while also supporting program events, student progress tracking, assessments, and professional development. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, must be at least 18, and should have experience working with youth; college credits are preferred. The position requires safety and security clearances and is performed mostly within a New York City public school.
