ERGO NEXT is hiring a full-time Actuarial Analyst in Waltham on a hybrid basis to expand its actuarial pricing capabilities for small-business insurance. The role involves building rate-indication and reporting tools, supporting state filings, creating performance dashboards, analyzing historical data, and translating insights into pricing recommendations. Candidates need a BA/BS in actuarial science, statistics, or a quantitative discipline, at least one year of actuarial experience or two CAS examinations, proficiency in Excel and SQL, and experience with AI tools; R or Python and small-business or general-liability insurance experience are advantageous. The position offers a US annual base salary of $75,000–$107,000 and includes medical, vision, dental, life, disability, retirement, and paid-time-off benefits.
