Description

Intact is seeking an Actuarial Consultant to join their Operation Performance Analytic team. The successful candidate will work independently on strategic projects, identify trends, and develop analytical solutions to optimize operational efficiency. They will also play a leadership role in challenging assumptions, influencing decisions, and proposing innovative solutions with business partners. Additionally, they will guide colleagues through coaching, review work, conduct technical analyses, and resolve complex problems.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: University Degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 5 years or more of actuarial experience (preferably in the P&C Insurance sector)
Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Mathematics, Actuarial, ACAS or FCAS
Good knowledge with Python, SAS, VBA or R
adaptability, innovative, analytical, decision-making, critical thinking, stellar communication, planning, organizing and team oriented
Bilingualism (French-English), For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
