Description
Markel is hiring a summer actuarial intern for 2027 to work in its Actuarial department on pricing, reserving, or actuarial operations projects. The intern will collaborate with experienced actuaries, learn about property and casualty insurance, and develop analytical, leadership, communication, and data skills. Candidates should be college juniors graduating in May 2028 or recently graduated, have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, major in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and have US work authorization. The position pays $24-$28.50 per hour and does not offer visa sponsorship.
