AustralianSuper is hiring an Actuarial Consultant to lead actuarial modelling and analysis for lifetime value, reserve modelling, membership forecasting, and other financial services modelling. The role develops and maintains models in Excel, Python, and related tools; supports model governance, testing, validation, controls, monitoring, issue remediation, and compliance; translates insights for senior stakeholders; and escalates risks and resourcing constraints. Candidates need experience in superannuation, life insurance, wealth management, or financial services; prior stochastic, projection, forecasting, or member-behaviour modelling experience; a professional actuarial qualification; strong data analysis and programming skills; and the ability to work within a Model Risk Management framework. The role offers a blended working environment and requires Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency.
