Description
Mayo Clinic is hiring a full-time Inpatient Transplant Nephrology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care to post-kidney and post-pancreas transplant patients during early post-operative and remote post-transplant phases, offer consultative services to other solid-organ transplant teams, develop treatment plans, prescribe therapies, educate patients and families, and participate in quality, research, and leadership activities. The role requires an accredited nursing or physician assistant education, current Arizona licensure and certification, BLS and ACLS certification, and DEA registration; nephrology, transplant medicine, or hospital internal medicine experience is preferred. The schedule consists of 13-hour day shifts with rotating nights, including weekends, and the position is exempt.
