Description
Children's Mercy is looking for an experienced Acute Mental Health Provider to deliver crisis-focused care to children and adolescents aged 2-17. This role involves conducting mental health assessments, evaluating safety and suicide risks, providing brief therapeutic interventions, supporting crisis stabilization, developing safety plans, and referring patients to appropriate treatments. The provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure trauma-informed, patient-centered care and may also support other child and family mental health areas as needed. It's a PRN role with flexible evening and night shifts available.
