Description

Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd. is hiring an ADAS Algorithm Engineer focused on Plan & Control Evaluation to develop and maintain ADAS evaluation frameworks, evaluator modules, reporting infrastructure, and AI/agent-based tooling for autonomous driving and validation workflows. The role centers on scenario-based evaluation for L2, active safety, and NGA sub-scenarios, with responsibilities spanning data preprocessing, replay pipelines, regression validation, front-end reporting systems, and enablement tools for system engineers and validation teams.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's degree in vehicle engineering, computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, automation, or related field
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of experience in autonomous driving, ADAS, or robotics
Preferred Qualifications: Planning algorithm experience in ADAS/AD
Hands-on experience with an AD stack module such as BEV perception or learning-based planning
Experience using AI coding assistants and building AI agent workflows
Data-driven development, parameter tuning, or applied machine learning experience
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Fluent English; German is a plus
Knowledge of ADAS function design, vehicle E/E architecture, and AutoSAR
