Ford is hiring an ADAS Software Update Systems Engineer to own the system design, specification, analysis, and validation of over-the-air software update functionality for an ADAS system. The role covers requirements and architecture from concept through production, UDS and automotive networking standards, ECU and embedded software constraints, cybersecurity and functional safety requirements, issue triage, supplier coordination, and traceability documentation. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or systems field and at least two years of experience in systems engineering, embedded software, or automotive electronics with OTA systems; the position is hybrid with onsite work four or more days per week and offers a base salary of $99,600 to $166,600.
