Description
The Additive Manufacturing Design Engineer will design sand molds, cores, feeding and gating systems, and 3D-printed mold packages for centrifugal pump castings produced on an ExOne S-Max binder jet printer. The role includes casting solidification simulations, coordinating with foundry teams and suppliers, improving casting yield and quality, optimizing printer job-box utilization, and supporting print job preparation and machine maintenance. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, at least two years of foundry process experience, Spanish fluency, intermediate English, and knowledge of gating, risering, metallurgy, casting processes, CAD, simulation software, and binder-jet additive manufacturing.
