Description
SpaceX is hiring an Additive Manufacturing Engineer (Raptor) to design, develop, test, and improve additive manufacturing processes for Raptor printer platforms. The role covers machine and software development, part design and analysis, build-file optimization, material and print-parameter development, process-data systems, best practices, and safety improvements. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least one year of hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, or project-management experience; aerospace, additive manufacturing, materials, and testing experience are preferred. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $160,000 depending on level, with medical, vision, dental, retirement, disability, life, paid leave, and other benefits.
