Description
Droyd is hiring a Prototype Technician to support robot hardware prototyping, fabrication, and assembly in San Francisco. The role operates 3D printers, CO2 and fiber laser cutters, and related lab equipment; prepares and optimizes print jobs; performs post-processing and quality inspection; manages materials and inventory; troubleshoots and calibrates machinery; and collaborates with engineers on fabrication bottlenecks. The position is in-person and requires hands-on hardware-building experience, strong 3D-printing and multi-method fabrication skills, CAD and engineering-drawing literacy, organization, troubleshooting ability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
