Description
Porter and Chester Institute is hiring an Automotive Instructor to teach hands-on automotive repair, diagnostics, safety, tool use, troubleshooting, customer service, and repair procedures in a classroom and lab setting. The role mentors students, prepares them for ASE and state licensing, and includes paid training and professional development. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of hands-on automotive repair experience, ASE certifications within six to twelve months of hire, and strong knowledge of diagnostics, electrical systems, engine performance, and repair procedures. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a $1,500 sign-on bonus.
