Description
Kirkwood Community College is hiring a temporary, part-time adjunct instructor to teach ELE-364 Basic Electrical Circuits in its Industrial Technologies Department. The instructor will provide face-to-face classroom and lab instruction, teach the established curriculum, enforce lab safety, assess students, provide feedback, use the Kirkwood learning management system, communicate with students and faculty, and participate in professional development. The position pays $1,304 per credit hour and is scheduled during specified Tuesday/Thursday sections from August 25 through December 2026 term dates. Candidates need relevant electrical-systems experience or qualifying industrial-maintenance education, with preferred community-college teaching, ESL-support, and learning-management-system experience.
