Description
Widener University is hiring adjunct faculty for its Biomedical Engineering Department in Chester, Pennsylvania. The part-time role may involve teaching one to three undergraduate or graduate courses each semester on an as-needed basis, including courses in biomechanics, thermodynamics, cell and tissue engineering, biomaterials, bioinstrumentation, and regulatory and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, meeting with students outside regularly scheduled class time, and providing student support and guidance. Applicants must have a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field; previous teaching experience and flexible scheduling are preferred. This is a pooled position from which adjunct faculty will be hired as openings occur.
