Adjunct, Economics is responsible for the success of the total teaching/learning process within the assigned classroom, laboratory, shop, or other learning environment. Will be required to teach Dual Credit classes at dual credit locations and/or online. This position requires a Master's degree with 18 hours of graduate-level credit in the teaching discipline and experience teaching in higher education. The adjunct professor must demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, proficiency in computer and instructional technologies (Microsoft Office, LMS), critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and in teams. They should also exhibit excellent customer service, a commitment to continuous learning, and strong organizational and time management skills. The role involves contributing to curriculum development, staying current with the field, and adhering to Hill College's policies and values. Travel to multiple campus sites and fingerprinting for Dual Credit classes are required.
