Description
Colorado Mountain College is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach assigned courses, prepare lesson plans and syllabi, assess student learning, maintain course records, advise and support students, participate in orientation, recruitment, curriculum evaluation, service, scholarly or creative activities, and professional development. Candidates must hold a relevant master's degree or equivalent education and experience, possess qualifying teaching credentials, and have at least one year of full-time teaching experience or equivalent adjunct experience. The role requires pedagogy knowledge, teaching and technology proficiency, organization, communication, interpersonal skills, data analysis, and the ability to work independently. The position reports to the Assistant Dean of Instruction or designee, may supervise student employees, requires a background check, and may involve travel plus evening or weekend hours. Employees must work within Colorado, and visa sponsorship is unavailable.
