Description
Wheaton College is hiring a part-time Guest Instructor or Guest Assistant Professor in Physics or Engineering for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role involves teaching one lecture or 1-2 undergraduate laboratory courses, using an active-learning approach, and mentoring physics and engineering majors and general-education students. Applicants should have a master's or doctoral degree in Physics, Astronomy, Engineering, or a closely related field, with previous teaching experience and the ability to integrate Christian faith with academic instruction. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled, and compensation is $935 per credit hour for an MA holder with fewer than three years of teaching experience or $1,100 per credit hour for a PhD holder.
