Description
The Adjunct Welding Instructor will teach SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes to a diverse student population, enforce laboratory safety, deliver lectures and demonstrations, maintain course records, and administer exams. The role requires three years of certified-welder experience in SMAW and GMAW or GTAW, three years of welding instruction or welding-supervisor experience, independent judgment, physical availability, and availability for nights, days, and weekends. An associate degree in Welding Technology or a related field, AWS certification, collegiate-level welding-instruction experience, and bilingual English/Spanish ability are preferred. Compensation is stated as a rate per ECH.
