Description
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in association with UNC Health and Chatham Hospital, is hiring a part-time adjunct Family or Emergency Medicine Physician for a one-year appointment. The physician will staff the Emergency Department of Chatham Hospital, a 25-bed rural Critical Access Hospital in Siler City, North Carolina, approximately 30 miles outside Chapel Hill. The role includes emergency care, documentation, patient satisfaction, and opportunities for teaching, research, and professional development. An MD or DO is required, along with board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine and continuous ALS, PALS, and ATLS certification; emergency department, urgent care, rural practice, or teaching experience is preferred.
