Description
The employer is recruiting an Adjunct Instructor, Baking and Pastry Arts for a continuous, part-time contract. The instructor will teach technical baking and pastry skills, maintain sanitation and safety standards, follow uniform requirements, and keep audit records in the classroom and lab. Classes are held on the Main Campus and may be day or evening, with hours as needed. Applicants must have an associate degree in a related field, three years of upscale culinary experience, computer skills, evidence of baking and pastry competency, and eligibility for or possession of an American Culinary Federation certification. A baccalaureate degree, culinary competition experience, higher-education teaching experience, and industry certifications are preferred. Compensation is based on course rates and scheduled instructional hours.
